Effect of Combining the Aggregate Grading with Cementitious Composition on Mechanical Properties of Ultra-High Performance Concrete

Ultra-High Performance Concrete (UHPC) improves the bearing capacity as well durability of structural concrete. This study aims to investigate constituents UHPC in both phases: aggregate and cementitious materials. The proper ratio mixture was chosen based on combining an gradation quartz sand crushed stone. In addition, compressive strength hardened cement paste investigated achieve optimal silica powder blast furnace slag. combination (quartz stone) (cement, fume, powder, slag) showed ultra-high performance. reached 135.74 MPa at 7 days, corresponding 90% 28 days’ (150.98 MPa). results present provide a new mixture-proportioning for with economic efficiency. Moreover, use slag enhances concrete performance reduces negative environmental impact.
